At Henley Restoration & Remedials, we take great pride in seeing our specialist sister division, Henley Rail, awarded the contract to deliver vital restoration works at Darlington Station, in partnership with CML Civil Engineering.
As specialists in structural repairs and remedial works, we understand the complexity and care required when working with historic masonry. This project will see Henley Rail carefully dismantle and reconstruct two historic stone and brick gable walls, following the discovery of structural weaknesses in the original façade.
Henley Rail’s heritage-trained teams uphold the high standards shared across our Group, combining traditional craftsmanship with modern engineering expertise. Every stone and brick is treated with care for its history before being rebuilt to meet today’s performance requirements.
This project marks an important step in preserving the architectural character of Darlington Station, and we look forward to seeing the works progress alongside partners CML Civil Engineering, AHR, and LNER.
For us, this project exemplifies the strength of the Henley Construction Management Group, a network of specialist divisions working in harmony to protect the past and serve the future.
