Project Details
This building was designed by S. L. Swann in Gothic Revival style in red brick with ashlar and decorative dressed sandstone. Originally constructed in 1881 as the Winter Street Hospital for Infectious Diseases, it became a dedicated tuberculosis hospital in 1912 providing a fresh air rooftop balcony for patients. It is now the University of Sheffield School of Law and Henley Restoration and Remedials are pleased to be working on this project: replacing the cementitious pointing for lime pointing, completing stone and brick repairs to preserve this important property
