The former 1870 built, Goulden Street Police and Fire Station, in the City Manchester is now a Grade II listed building. It sadly was left abandoned in the recent years, following a devastating fire, but has been granted a new lease of life to restore and repair it back to its former glory.
Henley Restoration and Remedials are proud to be part of this exciting restoration project and have been working closely with Manchester City Council and our client to ensure works are completed sympathetically to this valuable Victorian property.
Henley Restoration and Remedials has carefully removed the original cast iron columns, which would have once supported the doors to allow the fire brigade wagons to leave the station and keep the Great City of Manchester safe.
We are looking forward to working on this special and significant building.
